Canvas Butterfly Pennant with Jen Starr

In this Creative workshop you will explore stunning mixed media techniques to create effects that sparkle and shimmer while you make a one of a kind 1×3 foot butterfly themed pennant for your wall! You will be working with mists and my line of Dimensional Crystal paints from Art Anthology plus a variety of goodies from Viva Décor to add details. Your finished project will be so full of dimension and texture that the butterflies will seem to come to life!
Please bring to class – a PAINTABLE ADHESIVE such as gel medium or Ranger’s Multi medium (NOT Mod Podge); a container for water and a variety of paint brushes; a palette knife if you have one; scissors for detail cutting and/or X-Acto Knife & cutting matt; ½” red tape (or something similar) and a roll of paper towels and/or baby wipes.
You may also want to bring a shirt box or something to contain your project to bring home in case your Butterflies need additional drying time.
Jen Starr will be teaching five classes in two days at Runaway Art & Craft Studio! A national mixed media artist, she is a Senior Educator for Viva Décor USA, the Creative Director for Art Anthology and a fully certified and recognized Ranger Industries Instructor!
